NJMP Lightning In A Corvette

C5 Z06 on Hankook R compounds. Best lap 1:13.08 out of 12.
Turn 1
Brake at 3 cones - start/finish is roughly 3.75 cones.
Downshift to 3rd.
Ease into power over the crest.
Careful going over the crest - car can lose rear grip suddenly.
Turn 2
Gentle braking, early turn in, gentle curve.
Turn 3
Brake some more, line up on the right.
Turn 4
I braked for turn 4 and accelerated coming out of turn 4. It appears to be possible to coast through 4 maintaining the speed, which overall is quicker.
Turn 5
Brake approximately when crossing center line of the track. Aim for the end of the outside curb.
Gently dial in power over the crest. Start adding throttle before the crest. Flat out in 3rd gear going down the hill.
Turn 6
Shift into 4th.
Turn 7
Downshifting into 3rd. I was using the apex curb on most laps. Should try a later apex and staying off curb.
Turn 9
A mix of high power and low power line - entry from the outside under power, braking in the straight line then gently curving, crossing track going up the banking. I never went more than 2/3 of the way up - tried going further one lap and the car seemed to lose a lot of grip on the upper 1/3 of the pavement. Driving turn 9 very close to a Miata.
Turn 10
Shift into 5th.
